Due to Victoria entering lockdown from 8pm, Thursday 5 August, all Youth Services outdoor events have been cancelled/postponed.

All indoor programs will be offered online.

The Youth Resource Centre is open from 9am – 5pm for limited access to the  food bank service and is available for individuals aged 12 – 25 year who are struggling and need assistance.

Youth and Family Counselling

Youth and Family Counselling will proceed online or by telephone.


Our Youth Services food bank service is still operating during the lockdown and is available for individuals aged 12 – 25 year who are struggling and need assistance.
Call 8734 1355 or if you’re able to get to the Youth Resource Centre at 86 Derrimut Rd, Hoppers Crossing (9am-5pm), we have limited staff who will be able to assist.

Hoppers Crossing

Open: 9am – 6pm weekdays

The YRC is located next to AquaPulse and Encore Events Centre.  You can drop in anytime from 9am – 6pm on weekdays to speak with a youth worker.  Programs include weekly after-school programs, support programs, excursions, holiday programs, events, youth committees, counselling and mentoring.

There is also a range of facilities available for young people to use, including a free internet café and printing, meeting rooms and activity spaces, industrial kitchen, pool table and table tennis, and a band rehearsal room with equipment hire.

Drop in to our Youth Lounge from 3pm – 5pm (located inside of the Community centre) to hang out, grab a bite to eat or speak with a youth worker.

You can also participate in after-school recreational programs, excursions, events, sporting activities, youth committee and use support services such as counselling and mentoring.

Friendly youth services staff are located at Tarneit Community Centre.  You can drop in during weekdays after school to chat with a youth worker, or participate in after-school programs.

On offer are also excursions, events, youth committee and support services such as counselling and mentoring.
